About the Artist
I’m Claire, the jeweller and maker behind Ophidian Jewellery.
Ophidian is a small, independent studio based in Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia. I create handcrafted pieces with a taste for the mystical, the lucky, and the rebellious; jewellery that feels personal, a little untamed, and entirely your own.
All my jewellery is created in gold and silver using mix of hand-forged and wax-carved techniques. My work is inspired by nature - organic textures, forms and quiet imperfections, juxtaposed with the intricacy and precision of traditional jewellery making.
Every piece is made slowly and intentionally, with the hope that it becomes part of your story.
